OK so much has happened these last few weeks....I don't know where to start!

Well we finally finished our classes and Graduated. A few weeks ago we were told they (DSS) had a match for us; 2 little girls ages 1 and 5. We are going to babysit the girls this week-end. If all goes well, they will continue to let us babysit until the Adoption committee meets at the end of this month. If all goes well the girls may permanently be placed in our home by the summer.

We may have 2 little girls by this summer...

If all goes right we may have 2 little girls by this summer. Rob was approached by one the social workers (I'm in TN this week) she told him they may have a perfect match for us. She shared some information with him and told him she would have more on Thursday if were interested. Rob says they are adorable... Their names are: Danielle she's 1 and Alyssa she's 5. Alyssa has had a rough start in her life. Anyway we will learn more about them and the family on Thursday.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while....We have been busy with classes and homework. Last night we were Finally assigned our Social Worker. Once we finish with our classes on March the 5th, she'll come out and do the Home Study and then the ball will roll from there.

Today I'm putting together a "Life Book" to present to Birth Families. DSS will show them this book and I guess you can say "Pimp us out". They (birth families) will go thru and decide if they want us to raise their child.

Class #2

Well we made it through another class. This time we had to roll play; they really put in situations that make you think. I had a family with 2 girls and an idiot husband, we were down on our luck and things spiraled downhill. In the end, its sad to think that there are children out there that have to go through this abuse and neglect just because parents make bad choices.
